We recently threw a dreamy Midsummer Night’s bash at our Reykjavík HQ. It was a dazzling affair with influencers and fabulous women from all corners, all enjoying the perfect summer sun. Icelandic women, known for chic and eclectic style and infectious energy, showed us how to effortlessly combine celebration with a healthy Nordic lifestyle.
Midsummer celebrations were all the rage this season, and our team embraced the enchanting theme of "Midsummer Night’s Dream" - a poetic nod to Shakespeare, beautifully translated into Icelandic. This choice perfectly captures our brand's ethereal allure, and it felt especially fitting given my previous career as an actress.
The essence of A Midsummer Night’s Dream is all about embracing a whimsical fairyland of joy and magic. Our gathering truly captured this enchanting spirit. We delved into conversations about dreams and sleep quality, setting an ethereal tone. Some of us wore chic eye masks by Elizabeth Scarlett as headpieces, while others adorned themselves with exquisite flower wreaths. Each attendee left with a curated gift designed to promote restful sleep and sweet dreams, featuring soothing tea, a booklet about quality sleep, and Værð pillow mist (which we created for the occasion).
Culinary delights, crafted by health chef Kristjana Steingrímsdóttir (Jana), featured gorgeous vegetarian refreshments. DJ Sóley kept the ambiance vibrant as guests savored Blackcurrant Tanqueray Gimlets and non-alcoholic herbal-infused drinks.
The event also unveiled our new look for Sóley Organics products, featuring enchanting illustrations by Laufey Jónsdóttir. Staying true to our roots, all products are processed and produced in Iceland using wild, hand-picked herbs.
Our team showcased their exceptional talent for hosting unforgettable soirées by arranging all the floral decorations in-house. The result was a breathtaking display of wild Icelandic herbs and flowers, artfully arranged in large clay vases, infusing the event with an authentic touch of natural beauty.
Sóley Organics' Midsummer Night’s Dream was more than just a party; it was a testament to the Icelandic way of celebrating—beautifully, healthily, and with a touch of magic.
